The signing took place after Sun Life Financial has acquired a 25 percent stake in Cresent Asia Limited, the holding company of GOFS.
Funderbeam aims to become the startup stock-exchange of the world.
The event is known as “Gangwon Youth Startup Audition” and is held by Gangwon Creative Economy Innovation Center (GIC) to inspire the youth population of Wonju.
Financial details of the deal were not revealed.
The size of the investment is not officially disclosed but it is said to be at US$30 million (approximately Rs. 4500 crores).
Greenko Energy Holdings has raised Rs 1,010 crore (about US$155 million) from existing investors Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA).
