Mooresville, NC – Due to the recent crisis there is a need for surgical masks for our Heroes on the front lines but also a shortage of the needed materials to make those masks. On Friday, President Trump issued the following statement, “With the masks, it is going to be a voluntary thing…The CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain,” such as in grocery stores or pharmacies. “Especially in areas of significant community-based transmission,” the CDC says.
Sgt. Mike Shelley of SGT KNOTS SUPPLY Co. based out of Mooresville, NC and his team have stepped up to help everyone get the materials needed to make their own mask.
Mike is a U.S. Marine who started SGT KNOTS 9 years ago with the intention to change the supply chain forever and help customers get a higher quality product faster by cutting out the middleman. During this crisis that innovative supply chain has allowed SGT KNOTS to adapt to the current situation and overcome the current inventory shortages by working day-and-night to fulfill orders. More importantly, SGT KNOTS locates and secures more materials needed to make masks for our Super Heroes on the front lines.
Mike Shelley Sr. is a Purple Heart Recipient who instilled a great sense of HONOR and SACRIFICE into his family. As a result, brothers Sgt. Mike Shelley (Founder), Dan Shelly and Larry Rumrill were in the warehouse at 6 am on Sunday to fulfill orders and locate more materials to help customers, friends and family stay as safe as possible until we overcome this crisis together.
