With the launch, Melbourne-based Dr. Edward Bassingthwaighte BVSc, creator of the Whole Energy Body Balance method (WEBB), continues his work helping animal owners improve the quality of life for their pets through effective communication and hands-on stress relief.
Research shows that animals will often hide pain or express it in a way that is not easy to understand. For example, Dr. Edward says that out of the 70% of dogs that experience chronic back or myofascial pain, approximately half will show no outward signs. So it is every animal owner’s responsibility to be capable of recognizing signs of pain in their pets so they can address any underlying conditions.
The Whole Energy Body Balance (WEBB) method is a healing somatic bodywork modality used in healing chronic pain, anxiety, and trauma in pets. In addition to relieving pain, the webinar series teaches the application of this method to help reduce the anxiety and stress animals feel during storms or in periods of separation or new circumstances.

As a result, he started exploring fascia touch therapy. Here he mastered how to release trigger points to restore healthy body movement in animals, which led to the discovery of the WEBB method.
