Singapore, 8 March 2022 – Asia’s flagship tech event, Asia Tech x Singapore (ATxSG), will be held in Singapore from 31 May – 3 June. Expected to attract around 10,000 attendees, the week-long ATxSG will be held at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore and the Singapore EXPO this year, as large-scale, in-person MICE events return to Singapore.
The ATxSG is organised by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), Informa Tech and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB). IMDA will host ATxSummit and ATxAI, where global tech, business, and government leaders convene for high-level discussions on shaping the region’s digital future. Informa Tech will helm ATxEnterprise and ATxImpact, representing ATxSG’s segments for B2B and start-up respectively.
ATxSummit
The ATxSummit, to be held on 31 May, is the apex event of ATxSG. The one-day high-level exclusive by-invitation-only event seeks to address how governance, trust, and technology can come together to solve global challenges while promoting innovation, diversity, and inclusion. Top-level government officials and industry leaders will engage in searching conversations on trends, challenges and opportunities across four key pillars – Tech x Trust, Tech x Good, Tech x Builders, and Tech x Creative – that will redefine tech for a better future.
Mr Lew Chuen Hong, Chief Executive, Infocomm Media Development Authority, said, “Building on the success of last year’s inaugural ATxSG, we will host government and business leaders from around the world in-person at the ATxSummit, to collectively shape an exciting, shared digital future. Important conversations and ideas were borne at the 2021 Summit, addressing both opportunities and challenges in the intersections of technology, digital economy and society. This year, we look forward to deepening those discussions, and pushing the boundaries of innovation and co-creating solutions that make a difference.”
ATxAI
Artificial Intelligence (AI) experts and policy makers will convene at ATxAI conference on 1 June. These thought leaders will discuss the future of AI technologies, AI and sustainability as well as how to demonstrate trustworthy AI. Attendees can also learn about successful and trustworthy AI implementations from established companies through an industry showcase.
ATxEnterprise
ATxEnterprisewill comprise industry events BroadcastAsia, CommunicAsia, SatelliteAsia and TechXLR8Asia. ATxEnterprise will be held at the Singapore EXPO from 1-3 June, featuring a bustling international marketplace of exhibitors and industry-leading speakers. ATxEnterprise will feature new dedicated tracks on Cyber Security, Data & Cloud, as well as the inaugural Asia Satellite Business Week in partnership with Euroconsult.
ATxImpact
ATxImpactwill also return from 1-3 June with InnovFest x Elevating Founders Asia, with more than 100 start-ups from around the region, and EQL:HER Asia (formerly accelerateHER Asia) featuring leading women-in-tech from across Asia.
“We are thrilled to stage the first physical event of ATxSG in partnership with the IMDA and the STB. We have witnessed an increased demand for in-person experiences across the business in 2022 and are very excited to bring our communities in Asia together onsite to build meaningful connections, network, share ideas and discover new innovations. We will bring with us the best of what we have learnt over the last two years of virtual events, to support and optimise the onsite experience of all attendees,” said Mr Gary Nugent, CEO of Informa Tech.
“Singapore Tourism Board is pleased to support the first-ever physical edition of Asia Tech x Singapore, a platform that will inspire new possibilities for the region’s digital future. It also reaffirms Singapore’s ability to stage safe and innovative events that provide a meaningful in-person experience. We look forward to welcoming all participants to Singapore soon,” said Mr Yap Chin Siang, Deputy Chief Executive, STB.
