Genesis Battle: Builderverse is a GameFi multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game built on the blockchain, where two teams of players compete against each other on a battlefield to earn crypto and truly own their heroes and in-game items in the form of NFTs. Each player is in control of a character with a set of distinctive features. Players can earn GenesisCoin ($GC), the in-game token, simply by playing the free-to-play mobile game.
The Problem of Most Online Games
Most blockchain games suffer from sustainability. Games that have a super-complicated or too simplified gameplay, or that fail to introduce new value to the game experience will have a short lifespan for being unable to retain players for a long period of time. In addition, players do not just want to play games but also interact with one another. This is the reason why Genesis Battle: Builderverse will operate as a MOBA game. It is a proven and market-tested genre that can withstand time.
Also, the majority of games operate in centralized models meaning that the developers own all data in the games ranging from items, digital currency to collectibles. This makes the servers vulnerable to hackers who can steal virtual game assets from players. That is why Genesis Battle: Builderverse is blockchain-based and gives players true ownership of their assets via NFTs in addition to security.
Gameplay
$GC can be used on the Genesis Battle Marketplace to buy in-game items, for example better heroes, or mystery boxes. They can also be converted to BuilderCoin ($BLDR) which can also be used to acquire mystery boxes. Each box has a different level of rarity.
There will be several game modes with different game objectives. For every battle won, players are rewarded a certain amount of $GC, depending on their rank.
In MOBA Mode, the players have to destroy the opponent’s main structure located at the opposite corner of the battlefield to win the game.
In the Dungeon Raid mode, the main game objective is to eliminate monsters with varying levels of difficulty.
Heroes
An integral part of the game are heroes. Every hero has its own characteristics, but has a suggested role which it is suited to and performs best at.
Each hero of the currently available 20 is an NFT with a distinguishing set of 3 skills that can be bought on the marketplace. You cannot trade free heroes that are randomly given at the beginning for new players. In order to maximize a team’s chances of winning, players have to choose the right combinations of the skills that synergize well. It is possible to acquire multiple heroes, but players can only choose one for each game.
Teams should have heroes with different roles. The roles are Assassin, Marksman, Support, Mage, Tank, and Fighter.
Tanks act as shields due to their high health points. They can absorb considerable amounts of damage and are expected to lead the charge during battles. Support heroes are similar to Tanks. They shield and heal their teammates, and even sacrifice themselves when needed.
Fighters are very versatile and can take on multiple roles throughout a game, depending on the team’s needs. Mages are fragile heroes who can deal high magic damage in bursts. Same goes to Marksmen who can deliver massive continuous damage but only from a safe distance. Assassins are melee heroes who roam the battlefield with high mobility and pick off enemies.

In Genesis Battle: Builderverse, the in-game token is GenesisCoin ($GC) and the cryptocurrency is BuilderCoin ($BLDR). $GC can be converted into $BLDR.
