Yojee raises US$2.5 million to expand in Asia Pacific

Singapore-based logistics software startup Yojee announced today that it has raised US$2.5 million to fund its expansion in Asia Pacific. The capital will be used for marketing and the development of its software products.

Yojee is a platform technology company, delivering logistics and supply-chain management capabilities powered by artificial intelligence, machine learning, and blockchain technology.

The startup develops software that allows logistics provider to automate their business, offering them real-time tracking, pickup, and delivery confirmation, invoicing, job management, and other related features.

Yojee also uses AI chat bots to automate and handle sales, customer services, and operational tasks, permitting e-commerce enterprises to book deliveries.

This creates a software platform that allows businesses to ship goods with a software-enabled network that help logistics provider to collaborate, manage and operate their fleets.

The logistics software company claims to cater over 280 corporate customers and more than 1500 unique customers that include brands such as One Sports Puma, Spotlight, Lion Parcel, and others.

Yujee also said that it has experienced a growth of 159 percent in in terms of its logistics network since the last two quarters, expanding its presence in Australia, Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Malaysia.

In June, Yojee has signed an agreement with Post Media, a print media and news organization, to roll out a logistics platform in Cambodia. The platform will provide parcel delivery and other logistical support services in Cambodia.

Yojee was listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) through a reverse takeover in 2016.
