For JWB Family Law, the year 2022 started with a bang. Jessica Pederson, one of the firm’s Associate Attorneys, has recently passed her CFLS exam. This brings JWB Family Law’s total of CFLS attorneys to three. What makes this accomplishment all the more impressive is the fact that there are fewer than 2,000 CFLS attorneys in the whole state of California and fewer than 200 in San Diego.
CFLS stands for a Certified Family Law Specialist: an attorney who has obtained certification in the standards of California family law and demonstrated optimal legal competence. Jessica took the CFLS exam in October 2021 and received her results this March 2022.
